Pan de Sol??
I was talking to a friend today who had memories of a Philipine bread called "bread of the sun"..I am guessing pan de sol? He described it as slightly sweet and was popular in the morning. Does anyone know about this bread or it's history?

Yes I just found out the same thing. My friend said that was what it was called and that he grew up on it. He is also searching for a good recipe> I will post if here if he gets one.
