BBA poolish baguettes
As I'm working my way through the BBA Challenge, I finally took a crack at poolish baguettes. I have to say the results were fantastic. I really liked the addition of sifted whole wheat flour. Just wanted to show a couple of pictures.
Hope I'm in the right spot for this post.
WOW!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I am TRYING to get my courage up to try some of these!! And you are DEFINATLY in the right spot for this!! Congrats on your results! Did they taste anywhere near as good as they look?? And is that parchment paper?
Thanks for the kind words. They tasted so good. I don't even know if I have a picture of the bread sliced, as it was disappearing so quickly. Yes, I did use parchment paper for my proofing. Just floured and folded like a couch (didn't feel like shaking it out so late in the cold evening). When things were ready I just ran a pair of scissors down the top/fold over loop part and then each piece of dough was on it's on movable piece. Worked wonders!
I love the loaves. looks awesome. :)
