Bilbao, Salamanca, and Madrid -- Bakeries?
In a month my wife and I will be traveling to Spain, where in succession we will visit Bilbao, Salamanca, and Madrid. If anyone has one or more bakeries in any of those locations to recommend, please let me know.
Thanks in advance, and happy baking.

C. de Sta. Feliciana, 10, Chamberí, 28010 Madrid, Spain
If you make it to Barcelona: Forn Balta, C. de Sants, 119
Thanks for this info. We went to Barcelona a few years ago, but this trip is in the northern part of the country. We will check out the Madrid bakery.
This is for the benefit of Alfanso and anyone else who might be interested. My wife and I returned recently from our trip to Spain, and I can now report on some fine bakeries that we found.
Bilbao
Bertiz is a chain, but the location we visited (Calle de Iparraguirre, 15) had a very nice baguette and a good variety of loaves.
Gure Ogia Artisau Ogitegia (Enfrente De, Henao Kalea, 16) was outstanding. Excellent selection of breads and a very tasty loaf. This would be my first choice in Bilbao.
Salamanca
Viandas Bakery (Calle de Quintana, 3) has a good variety of breads, and I was pleased with the loaf I got.
Madrid
Alma Nomad Bakery (Calle de Santa Feliciana, 10) was the star bakery of our trip (and thanks again, Alfanso). What great bread, and a nice staff to assist with my selection. The person I spoke with was more than happy to explain what flours were in which breads, and I bought a loaf of mixed white and dark flour. Superb flavor. This place turns out top quality loaves.
Levaduramadre (Calle de Atocha, 63) also has a nice selection of breads to choose from, and the loaf I got was fine.
