Did I do something wrong?

I think this is a question for Floyd, but maybe someone else can answer.

I thought I'd responded to the thread about sourcing flour and grains in the Boston area yesterday, but noticed today that my response had disappeared.

Did I do something wrong by giving a specific business name and phone #? I don't have any financial connection to the distributor I mentioned, I just know they deliver to the Boston area, so thought it might be useful to the person making the query.

On the other hand, I may well have pushed a wrong button... that happens more often than I want to admit. The post did appear at the top of the column at the time, but with me at the keyboard, who knows...

Thanks,

edh

Floyd usually sends an email for behavior that is considered harmful to the community, not just a random delete, on the rare occasions when he has to moderate anything on the site... unless it is totally obvious like someone hit a button a few times and accidentally posted the same thing a bunch of times or had a broken tag or link in which case that wouldn't result in a delete but just a little fix.

Besides, you're a regular contributor, not someone who signed up 15 minutes before making 35 posts for a business and then dissapeared again, so it's not like sharing anything in context of actual conversation would be considered spam either.

Also, he hasnt been online as much - we've just gotten back from a week out of town and he's busy catching up on the work stuff and latest Food Crisis campagnes they've got going on. :)

Thanks Dstroy,

Just wanted to make sure I hadn't broken an unspoken (or spoken) rule! Mistakes on this end are rife...

I'll try re-posting and see if I can keep from messing up.

Thanks,
