Sourdough Rye
Sourdough Rye from Bread Alone. This is a wonderful recipe, and my starter's starting to develop a really nice flavor (my 4th loaf from it). The recipe says you should make 2 loaves, it easily makes 3 decent sized ones.
I used my SuperPeel (thanks, Gary!) to transfer them to my stone. I'm still getting the technique right, so they ended up too close together and touched when they sprang (mightily!) in the oven.
And here's the crumb. I wanted to wait a couple of hours to cut them open, but my wife made me slice one so we could put cheeseburgers on it :) They were delicious, too. Oriental burgers with teriyaki sauce in them.
