Five Pound Loaf
Just for fun I decided to make the biggest boule loaf my oven could probably handle. I made a triple batch of Alton Brown's Very Basic Bread with whole wheat for the preferment and a bit of flax seed added, and created this with five pounds of dough. It made excellent panini sandwiches.
Nice. I saw you post this a couple of days ago in LJ and was admiring it there.
Nice loaf! Didn't see anything that looked like LJ under Links. What site is Floydm referring to?
