Komo Mio versus Mockmill?
I'm in the market - any thoughts on the Mio versus the Mockmill? Both are relatively new and I haven't seen a comparison between the two yet.
I'm not crazy about the housing on either, but the Mio's mostly wood construction seems more likely to last than the Mockmill, and it's got a 12 year warranty v. 6. Also, although the Mio's motor isn't much larger than the Mockmill, it's rated for almost 2x as much throughput.
Pleasant Hill tells me that the motor shouldn't run for more than 15 minutes at at a time, though, but I think that's true of both.
I need the range through cracked rye, which is why I'm focusing on these two. Higher priced Komo and Mockmills are gorgeous to look at but probably more grinder than I need.
Thanks!
with a comparison but I can tell you I looooove my KomoMio!
Thank you, finally bought a mio myself and am very pleased as a first time miller! Now the really complicated stuff begins ...
I do love mine. Congrats fellow Mio owner! Let the fun begin!
