Kitchenaid Model "G" in Chrome
For sale is the Kitchenaid Model "G" in Chrome. Chrome finish is about a 7.5 out of 10 considering its age. The mixer has been cleaned out of the old grease, all gears and internals has been de-greased and inspected as well as the inside of the transmission and motor housing. The mixer has been re-greased with Mobil-1 FM222 food grade grease. The lift mechanism has been dis-assembled and cleaned. The accessories included are two bowls, chiller base, flat beater, wire whip, dough hook, small and large citrus reamers, pouring shield and the much sought after pastry knife. The power cord has been replaced and grounded. The asking price is $550. This is reasonable price considering the similar mixers on the famous auction site. You can see it run by (clicking is working too) pasting and copying the link below, it shifts and runs like new. Buyer pays shipping cost, as a point of reference I have shipped N50s (mixer bowl and attachments) through FEDEX for $65.00. As an alternative I live in the suburbs of Chicago should you decide it is close enough to pickup.
That is a nice looking unit. Well worth the price.

Thank you everyone, the Kitchenaid Model "G" has been sold.
Hello again,
I have one more item for sale. An Atlas Copper Liner, see in the for sale forum. Thanks!
Just a followup to everyone in the forum.
The shipped Kitchenaid Model "G" arrived broken at the column. If you ever decide shipping a Model "G" or N50 consider some dis-assembly. The buyer opted for his refund, Pay Pal facilitated the refund. I was of the opinion that the buyer should pay for the return shipping, I still emailed the prepaid FEDEX shipping label. The buyer (to date) has not returned the merchandise, I need the merchandise to file a damage claim with FEDEX. The buyer no longer responds to any emails, and has kept the merchandise and all accessories and has received his refund. You can call it many things, a couple of them are fraud and theft. I thought everyone here was truly for the most part honest. I was way off, I wish I had sold the mixer to the person who offered to pick it up in person. Pay Pal has not been very helpful, not best for buyer and seller as I originally thought. Any buyers be wary of the person I sold to. In a past case I had help with the State's Attorney in my state. In order to resolve this, the buyer's local law enforcement has been contacted (they are being receptive), I will also contact the State's Attorney that the buyer's state as well. I am pretty sure this falls within the realm of mail fraud which is a federal offense. I will not be posting any additional comments related to this experience but feel it is beneficial to others in avoiding potential problems when they buy or sell an item. Take care.
Hello,
I am so sorry to hear about what happened. I am the person who offered to buy and pick it up locally. I would still be interested in purchasing all of the attachments, bowl, beaters, etc on the mixer when you get them back. You need to make sure that the buyer returns the merchandise to you and I will purchase everything except the mixer. The buyer is not entitled to a full refund and to keep the merchandise. Call PayPal and file a fraud claim. We will work it out and you can still get a good sum of money from me to mitigate this terrible loss. Let me know how I can help you in any way expedite the process. You may contact me personally if you don't want to discuss further on the blog.

Did you ever get the mixer back? If you did I have a chrome with a shorted out motor leaving me with a base. I’ll buy the top half. Let me know.

Did you end up selling all the parts from the damaged mixer. I have a chrome n50 for which I'd like to replace the arms that hold the bowl. Also the base i have is very rusty so i'd be interested in that too. If you have either of these parts or any attachments like the pouring shield and chiller base.
Thanks,
Jesse
Thank you for your interest. I never recovered the mixer or payment from it. The buyer (from here) got the best of me. I will say it again: people are not who they seem, this person probably still a user here with different credentials. I do have a model "G" that is the powder coated candy apple red. I will tinker with it once in a while trying to make it shift smoother, I am willing to part with it since I have been collecting too many mixers. You could probably use this one as your main mixer and keep yours for parts. Let know if you are interested, send me private email if yes. I can get some pictures together and maybe a video.
I'm new to this site and do not know how to reply privately to emails. When I click on email I don't see an option to write a message. Is there something obvious that I'm missing? Thanks!
Hi, I just sent you an test email.
Reading everything on this post is very disheartening. I'm sorry you went through that. Halfway down I kind of was hopeful when I read that you were going through the authorities and file and claim the proper way. This is absolutely male theft and it's a federal offense if you ship through the US Post office, the FBI could be involved. I had something similar happen to me a very long time ago for only $100 but I got it recovered when the local police department for that person contacted the individual. Whatever happened with your story regarding the local police?
