help with chocolate chip cookies!
Basically I am looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that is crunchy and crispy, and I would like for the measurements to be in metric and/or weight measurements (i.e. grams/ounces) NOT volume measurements (i.e. cups). I hate using volume measurements because you have to be accurate with measuring in baking, and I think if you use volume measurements, you will not get accurate measurements.
The recipe I'm looking for, I would like to be similar to the one provided in the link below:

Can somebody please provide a recipe for a chocolate chip cookie that is crispy and crunchy, and that uses metric/weight measurements?
There is a toll house recipe at cookingForEngineers.com that can help

I substitute white sugar for the brown and add 15 grams of molasses. put my bowl on the scale and pour it in. I don't loose half to the spoon.
As far as I know, metric eggs are still hard to find here in the Midwest, so I make do.
Thank you for providing that website. My husband adores chocolate chip cookies. I usually only like the ones I make (not a fan generally speaking).
An addition I've made in the last couple of years is to add coconut oil (about ¼ the total fat weight), along with the butter for my fat content. We're happy with the results!
I have a great recipe from Americas Test Kitchen. They bake by volume. If you are interested, I'll share it with you.
BTW, what didn't work with Divana's recipe?
