That's one way to get around a broken electric knife issue... and, it's a GREAT one!!!!
That's how I feel about the incident...
I use mine to slice bread very thinly to make crackers but I didn’t think of using it for regular slices! Thank you for posting this!
How could you not use yours for regular slices?!!! If I had known or seen/owned one, I'd have used it ten years ago!
My hand slicing skills always produce "interesting" but very variable bread slices with fresh bread so I bought a slicing machine some years ago. Saves me time and much frustration and at last count I still have eight fingers and two thumbs so it's definitely a win win for me.
It took me 10 years to realize I need a food slicer! But as they say, it's better late than never. I'm catching up!
I need a bigger kitchen or a bigger house to fit another kitchen gadget ?.
It's out of contol!???
Especially the borodinsky. The thinness of the slices and the way they were stacked emphasize their beauty. I must be contented with "unique slices" for now. :)
我想告訴您, 我是教師了!不要告訴別人, 好嗎? 哈哈。
真替你開心! 世伯和伯母一定為你自豪!甚麼時候開學? 教甚麼年級和科目?新的工作,新的挑戰,我祝你成功!

I'm sure no one else reads our conversation in Chinese!
Too bad I can read every single word in you two's conversation. You were writing in my mother-tongue. The secret has been revealed :)
Btw, I'm back in school as well. Let's work hard together!

But no, I'm a year 2 university student :)
Nice to meet you too, Yippee!
You are! 主修甚麼?在哪所大學學習?
My intended major is Food & Nutritional Science offered by the Faculty of Science.
叻女!
you're too kind :)
I didn't think that you will see this. Haha
and it was never returned for some reason. My wife was to embarrassed to ask for it back and she wouldn't let me go get it either! ..... so we no longer have one to try out on bread and she is short one friend too:-)
You are mastering Rus's Russian Rye bread. That Borodinsky looks delicious and perfectly sliced! Nice!
Happy baking Yippee!
of how delicious and perfect it is. Can you help?
