Hobart C-10 PICS

Here are some pics of a Hobart C-10 we got at a flea market a few months back. We were fortunate in that it was in rough shape, but only $35.00. Actually, it only needed some TLC as it was remarkably complete, and functions well. We have ordered a new paddle, hook and whisk for it, though it came with and original paddle, and will have about $200 in it. Its heavy, right at 90 lbs, so its not something to move around the kitchen a lot.

It is great to see someone breath new life into these older machines.

I know this is an old thread, but I only found this today. First I love the restoration job you did, keeping it the original Gray was nice. I'm very curious though how did you find or where did you find that stainless steel trimmering that goes around the planetary mechanism. I noticed was missing in the first picture and it's in the restoration photo after that. Did not come with it or was it just not on in the picture and it was being cleaned up someplace else. Because that's something having trouble sourcing us a mixer I'm looking at is missing that piece. I'm not even sure what it looks like if I can recreate it. Is it curved is it just the stainless steel ring is it a plate does it have cutouts on it. Things like that but if it's something that you know where I could buy it that's different.
