Spelt Sourdough Pizza Base
hello,
I am hoping to make a spelt sourdough pizza base soon. I have found this recipe on the internet
- 1 cup Spelt flour.
- 25 grams of lard or butter.
- 1/8 teaspoon Celtic sea salt.
- 1/4 cup of sourdough starter.
- Water.

Firstly what do people think of this recipe - is there anything I should change or if you have any tips??
Secondly I assume that I can use 1/4 cup dry dough starter.
Thanks
My first reaction would be to double the salt and use olive oil for the fat - olive oil just seems so natural to me for pizza. However...
...considering they recommend topping with cream cheese and beetroot sauerkraut (is that like pickled beets??) I'd have to say try it as is and see what happens. They're obviously going for something a little different all around.
