When life gives you garlic-flavored potato flakes, …
… make bread! I’ve recently been adding mashed potato flakes to some bread, with good results. I ordered another box of flakes and received some that were flavored with garlic and other seasonings. Specifically, the flakes contain dehydrated potatoes, butter (cream, salt), salt, nonfat milk, roasted dehydrated garlic, spices (parsley flakes, white pepper, garlic powder), dehydrated onions and rosemary extract (given in that order on the box). The sodium content is stated to be 300 mg per 22 grams of flakes.
Any suggestions for what type of bread to make with this mixture? I’m thinking of a savory bread, such as focaccia. I’ve been using the instructions in this link: Mash it up - by Andrew Janjigian - Wordloaf to adjust a recipe due to the addition of the flakes. TIA.
