Question about ITJB
Good evening all. Does anyone know if Inside The Jewish Bakery is still available as a printed book? I have bought the individual sections off of Amazon, which is meh. I would rather have the physical book. Not to mention, I feel like the electronic version is missing some material.
I have Googled this, and came across the official ITJB website, but the purchase link doesnt work. I went to Camino Publishers and they only seem to have it in sections, just like Amazon.
I have searched by the ISBN#, and no luck,
I found a used book website that wants around $100 for it. I aint paying that much.
Anyone? Thanks!
As far as I am aware. I have periodically looked for it and never seen a copy for less than $90 or so.
You can contact the author, Stanley Ginsberg, at his TheRyeBaker.com site and ask if he still has copies for sale. I did not find his books offered directly, but did not inquire, either.
Good Luck

I wlould like to pm dryovenblues but do not have that capability. Could you fix me up.
Thanks
Given the prices quoted, it would be cost-effective to print the ebook on a laser printer and spiral bind it.

I agree, if, and this is a big IF, you could track down the full version. The Amazon "sections" is missing recipes and information.
So I went to The Rye Baker, and reached out via the chat box if its still available. I hope all is well with Stanley. His last post on that site was 2020.
Ill report back, if I hear anything, just incase anyone else is looking.
I have the book and would be willing to part with it. Email me at wmgloy@outlook.com and we'll see if we can work out a deal
An update!
So, I took some suggestions up above. I reached out to Stanley, and unfortunately did not hear back from him. Certainly hope all is well. I also attempted to contact Camino Books. I called numerous times. No answer. I also tried Google and a few other misc. websites. No dice.
I contacted "greyoldchief", who wanted to PM me. We worked out a very fair price for the book, and its now in my possession. The transaction was absolutely painless.
Its a wonderful book that will be used on a regular basis. I hope that Norm and Stan would be proud. Passing on knowledge, from one generation of bakers, to the next generation of bakers.
