Hi from Spain
Hi, I've been making bread using a Kenwood for a few years, mostly Hamelman recipes but also Ken Forkish, Dan Leppard and the Weekend Bakery people online, occasionally the King Arthur online recipes.
I've just bought an Ankarsrum and it has made me realise how little I actually know about bread. Up till now, I've just followed instructions and not really thought about the dough. Always came out lovely, what else did I need? But now that copying a recipe doesn't completely work out, it's made me realise I need to learn properly rather than just parrot. Looking forward to learning and, with any luck, eventually contributing. In the meantime, thanks for letting me join you all.
It's a great community for bakers of every skill level, with lots of support for anyone who wants to develop further. Dive right in!
Paul
Thanks, Paul. I've had a look around some of the posts related to my new machine. What a wealth of knowledge and expertise there is here. And a great community of likeminded folk willing to share. The world would be a better place if everyone was like this group.
