Prevent Banneton sticking?

I have been experimenting with a lined and unlined banneton. No issue with the lined one, but I want the ridges that come from the unlined one, so tried today with it. This is what I have t.ly/2T-Q I used. The banneton has been used many times, so I assume it's seasoned. I used brown rice flour to coat it t.ly/-qCQ but while some of it got into the crevices, it didn't really adhere to the bamboo. When I turned the bread out onto the counter, part of it stuck.

How do I prevent this? This is the recipe I'm using:  https://thefeatherednester.com/sourdough-recipe/

I used to put rice flour in the banneton but now I find it easier and more effective to put the rice flour on the loaf. I just take a little rice flour and gently rub it all over the loaf before putting it in the banneton.

Thanks for that obvious suggestion. Others elsewhere had suggested possibly spritzing the banneton with a little water, and perhaps mixing the rice flour with AP. I am making a loaf tomorrow and will try your suggestion.

At Breadtopia, they give the banneton a quick spray of oil and then the rice flour sticks very well.

I tried it and it worked for me.

@joe_n Your suggestion worked! I lightly sprayed it with oil, then rice flour, and the loaf came right out.

Glad to hear your bread is releasing!

Have you seen Breadtopia's molded banneton ? It can be washed with soap and water and gives very nice

edges. I got the oblong one (it is a bit large though but can fit in the 13in graniteware oblong for steaming).

I use cornflour as I had difficulty finding rice flour in local shops, it works well but brush off any excess after baking.
