New to The Fresh Loaf
Hello Everyone, I just signed up this evening for The Fresh Loaf. I am an Alaskan and absolutely love to bake. Baking is one of my biggest passions. Not everything turns out as pretty as it does in the books and magazines but learning is part of the process and even if it doesn't turn out perfect I'm confident the next one I make will will turn out better. Living in Ak means having your windows and doors closed a good part of the year and nothing smells as heavenly as fresh bread in the oven. I am really excited about trying new breads recipes and getting hints and ideas on making my breads look and taste better & being able to troubleshoot where I may have went wrong on a prior loaf. I wish Everyone The Best of Health and a Very Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!
Welcome. This site is a great resource as there are many great bakers here willing to help, encourage and give advice.
I am in Australia and have the opposite environment to you, we have our windows open most of the year and only close them mid winter.
Cheers,
Gavin.
Welcome L2BB! Post your bakes. The good, bad, and yes even the ugly ones. “We learn more from our failures than we do from our successes.” Ever baker on this site and throughout the world has baked their share of flops...
Help is always just a post away.
Danny
Glad to have you here! We all started at the beginning but TFL has certainly helped all of us on our fragrant, delicious journey.
FloydM is our host and TFL creator. He does a great job maintaining and contributing to the site.
Bake some deliciousness and have a wonderful holiday!
Welcome to The Fresh Loaf!
I think TFL is out of Canada but a lot of USA seems to be here (I'm in Massachusetts).
In any case, it's exciting to see all kinds of people from all over the world sharing their passion for baking.
How do you do?
