Three King’s Cake (filled with almond paste)
Three King’s Cake (filled with almond paste) before baking it.
This is the first one of the season. You can fill it with almond paste, whipped cream, chocolate or creme bruleé.

That is a very beautiful King's Cake and it looks like a great snack with coffee or tea... nice touch putting the citrus on top... I was thinking the next time I make such a cake that requires almond paste, that I might mix in a little cream cheese too... just sounds good to me.
