Antique coffee grinder

I looked at an electric coffee grinder at the antique mall, the type you would have seen in an old drug store on the counter to grind bulk beans. Is there any chance that big old red grinder could grind grain?

BUT it might be too hot for good bread. Why not find a small grain grinder, we got one at Wal Mart for about 35 dollars, it grinds grain nicely and efficiently and without too much trouble.

Personally I like hand grinders, they are slower, and more work, but are less likely to scortch the grain or coffee beans.
