Famag Mixer? Yay or nay?
I'm curious about purchasing a Famag spiral mixer specifically the IM 40.
Does anyone have any experience with this machine?
I guess my biggest concern is parts, and trouble shooting any problems that might arise.

I don't know what your specific needs are, but I've heard very good things about the mixer. Pleasant Hill has information on maintenance and I would imagine they'd be happy to discuss any concerns you have.
The only issue I've heard of from home bakers is some non computability with the type of ground fault switches in some home kitchens. There's a video in the link I attached, but it seems pretty easily resolved.
