Mutti passata as a pizza sauce?

Anybody do this? Just add a little salt and evoo  and good to go? I just got a couple bottles on sale. thanks.

I’ve often used the Mutti passata and it makes a great pizza sauce since it isn’t cooked just as a pizza sauce should be.

  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Fish Sauce
  • Sugar
  • Red Wine Vinegar
  • The fish sauce should not make the tomato sauce perceptibly fishy but should enhance the overall savouriness of the sauce. The sugar and vinegar should be used sparingly as subtle seasonings to enhance the overall balance of the sauce.
