Having trouble finding reviews of Sarah Owens “Sourdough”
I figure it was reviewed here, but when I search for it, the website only lets me look at the search results on page one, none related to the book—I can’t get to page 2 no matter how many times I click on it (I think it may be due to the ad which pops up down at the bottom near the numbers).
I’d love to know what people think of this book—and what they thought of the recipes they tried.

I can't help you with the book, but when you see the add, look to the very far right of your browser screen, and you should see a little x, sometimes it is in a circle, click that and the ad should go away. I had the same problem a few times because there was no x in the ad itself
...was driving me nuts! ;-)
I just got the book. I've only made one loaf so far (which was good). I find it inspiring for the flavor combinations and almost every recipe (cookies, scones, etc) incorporates starter in someway which will be a fun way to use it up. My only critique so far is that often the ingredients are a bit more on the unusual side. I pride myself on a very stocked pantry, but I still don't have a lot of the ingredients and some I don't think I could even find at a regular supermarket.
And yours jives with another review of the book which says the same thing—a lot of ingredients that aren't always easy to get. I guess her aim was to make this book different by expanding the ingredients list. There are a lot of bread books out there, and that's one way to stand out.
So, the loaf came out as advertised?
I was happy with it. Her loaves as written are much smaller than what I am used to so I think I scaled up the recipe a bit. Here are other posts I saw on this site:
