I have wheeled containers that hold about 13 gallons and there is plenty of room for 50 lbs of white flour. When I buy 50 lbs of whole wheat flour, I divide it into plastic bags which hold 5-6 lbs each, storing what will not be used immediately in the freezer so that it stays fresh.
of King Arthur Sir Lancelot high-gluten flour. Easily.

Figure 3.8 cups per pound of flour (King Arthur Flour reference)
3.8 cups/pound x 50 pounds = 190 cups
190 cups x 1Gallon/16 cups = 11.875 Gallons
Wild-Yeast
I use 2 x22 liter containers to store my flour.

Giving it a good shake can remove 10 to 15% of the volume, but it pretty much hits 44 liters poured out of the bag.
