I had to look up bagel poppers and bagel bites online. Bagel poppers are bagel holes or bagel rounds. With bagel bites, I saw mini bagels with pizza toppings. I thought bagel bites would be mini bagels.

As for ideas for toppings: dehydrated chopped onions, sesame seeds, poppyseeds, parmesan cheese, and cinnamon mixed with sugar.

I think you can incorporate chocolate chips or raisins into the dough for sweet bagel poppers.

How about a homemade pesto spread? Another idea is chorizo sauteed in olive oil, with just a hint of herbs and cheese added at the end.
