My first Sourdough - Still a baby, one week old and growing strong
1st Sourdough
Got a little bit adventurous, incorporated some specks & onion jam into it. Had I left it for 1 hour more of proofing, the crumb would have been better..... anyhow they taste great toasted !!!!
That is beautiful bread and it's your FIRST SOURDOUGH!!? I'm sure many of us would love the recipe. weavershouse
Wow, your starter is only a week old? That gives me incentive to try my baby starter tomorrow! It's a week old too.
Made my second sourdough yesterday. This time with Blue Cheese & Fig .... taste amazing, although my partner said that the whole apartment smells like "blue cheese gone bad" .....
Made breakfast with this bread - toasted and served with some fresh fruits and ricotta cheese. Surprisingly, the comment about "blue cheese gone bad" ceased to exist after breakfast.
