What to do with lots of vanilla pods?

I've got friends who recently visited Madagascar and brought me back lots of vanilla.

Mais trop des vanilles! I'm a bit overwhelmed with having so many vanilla pods. I normally soak mine in vodka to make homemade vanilla extract, but with such a large amount I'm wondering if someone here has a better idea of what to do with so much.

A Scandinavian pulla/nisu, but with vanilla instead of cardamom?

Try making vanilla sugar: just mix chopped vanilla pods with sugar in a jar. It’ll be great for baking and coffee!
