What an incredible spread you created! I can't imagine even trying to bake all you did. I hope enjoy sitting back tomorrow and enjoying your friends and family.

Beautiful baked goods! I'm exausted just thinking about all that work.
It's been wonderful having you part of TFL. I appreciate your generosity in sharing your experience and knowledge with us. I'm looking forward to another year of exploiting them.
Happy Hannukah to you and your family!

All I can say is "Wow!"
That, and Happy Holidays to you, too!
Amazing looking stuff, Norm. You haven't lost your touch!
Best wishes to you this holiday season.
You certainly know what you are doing. As stated above Norm, you are an uncommon man. I appreciate the time you have taken to help me personally on many levels. I have learned much from you.
Here's hoping we all have a healthy New Year and enjoy our family and friends.
See you on the other side of the year.
Eric
Happy Holidays and thank you for all your help...have a wonderful, Happy New Year!
Sylvia
Too bad I'm not in the neighborhood, or I'd definitely stop in to sample some of your treats. They look absolutely delicious.

Everything looks just delicious! The shot of you at the job is great. Thanks for sharing your expertise, your clear explanations here have helped me many times.
A Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family!
Marni
And Norm, if I were in the neighborhood you probably would have to start baking and wouldn't invite me again! The apple danishes, jam filled cookies and challah would keep me for a few hours.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Eli
actualy the total wieght of the cookies alone was exactly 56.8 pounds. if you could finish all that in a few hours i tip my hat to you sir i have met my match.
Norm, I wondered what all you would be baking when you spoke here of your large flour order. Now I see. Thanks so much for the pictures. Do you have a recipe you would share for the dough of the Danish? It really looks good. Hope you have a wonderful holiday and a healthy New Year.
Fran
give me a day or two to catch my breath and i will get something about danish
this is the first day that my oven has not been on since the 16th
and i am talking about turning the oven on at 8 in the morning and taking the last tray out at midnight there is only one word to describe it pooped
...simply superb! Someone out there in the industry has to be missing you!
What a splendid display of baking, Norm! I hope there's a few left to nibble on New Year's Eve!
Your groaning board sings!
All the best to you and yours for the new year.
Lindy
That is so impressive! What are those pretty colored layered ones? With the pink and green and yellow and chocolate? They are so festive! Makes me think of those 3-flavored ice creams!
Such a variety - it takes me all my time to plan, shop for and prepare one item.
I really fancy those multicoloured slices too.
the 3 color slices are actualy a modified pound cake mix. colered with food color and spread thin on 12x18 trays
assembled with jam and a last layer of marzpan then coated with choc on top and bottom
then cut to size the whole cookie is only about 1 inch tall so the hard part is getting the pound cake thin and baking fast so it stays soft and doesen't burn
without the choc they frezz well and can be made well in advance
You are at the top of your game. We were all worried about your health earlier this year, and it is good to see you can again do the things you love. You surely are an inspiration to us all. And by the way the rolls (from about 2 weeks ago) were wonderful. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us all, and to everyone who keeps it alive.
Audra
It's all lovely. But for some reason those spritz cookies with the glacee cherries are what I crave...They look so good!
Looking forward to a great 2009, partner!
Norm,
Any chance that challah recipe is up for sharing?
Thanks and highly anticipating your book!
