Cloverleaf Rolls
I made rolls to go with the beef stew. This is my favorite basic dinner roll recipe.
1 1/2 C warm milk
1/4 C melted butter
2 t yeast
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 C sugar
1 t salt
4 1/2 C AP flour
Mix ingredients, let rise in oiled, covered bowl for 2 hours. Shape into 36 balls. Put 3 balls in each cup of a 12 cup muffin tin. Cover and let rise for another 1/2 hour to 1 hour. Brush with egg wash and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Bridgid, a good idea about St. Patricks day. I even think a little green food coloring might be order for the grandkids.
Those are some beauties. I made a copy of your recipe to try these. Great job GlindaBunny. weavershouse
I want mine to look just like yours :) weavershouse
Ree from ThePioneerWomanCooks blog has a recipe that sits and ferments in the fridge. It can be found with lots of pictures at the link above.
I personally like the way yours turned out and especially liked the fact that you only used 2 tsp of yeast to her 4.5 tsp + baking soda.
I was going to try her recipe until I saw yours. Now I'm doing a 180 and want to try yours before I try hers.
Gotta love baking!
How do you measure 4 1/2 C AP flour? How many oz or grams?
Thank you!
