Prep time45 minutes
Cooking time20 minutes
Total time1 hour, 5 minutes

Ingredients

1⁄2 sli
Fresh Yeast (12g)
1 t
Sugar (can be omitted, or use honey)
1 t
salt
500 g
white wheat flour (any other can be used)
2 T
Yoghurt

Instructions

To make the dough, dissolve the yeast and sugar in 200 ml lukewarm water. Place the flour in a bowl, mix with the salt and make a well in the centre. Add the yeast water, yoghurt and oil and knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top/bottom heat (fan oven 200 degrees).

Knead the dough well again and divide into 4 portions. Roll out on a floured work surface into oval flat cakes 15-18 cm long. Leave to rise for a further 15 minutes.
Spread your filling on the pastry, sprinkle the cheese on top if you like. Fold the edges of the pastry a finger's width inwards and stick the ends together to form boats or rounds in my case to have more space in the oven. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg yolk add black sesame, if you have it. Bake in the middle of the oven for 18-20 minutes, leave to cool and enjoy.

Notes

Depending on your oven they might be done after 15mins or need a bit longer!!

Depending on ambient temp, the first rise might take up to 60mins!
