- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar + 3 tablespoon sugar

- 1 tablespoon vegtable oil
- 4 cups all purpose flour

· 2Add all ingredients (except the bread crumbs) in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
· 3The dough is supposed to be somewhat sticky (when I made this recipe, it was not sticky but it turned out well anyway).

· 5When the dough is ready, scoop out a small amount (about the size of an ice-cream scoop) and roll in bread crumbs in an oval shape; place on baking sheet. 1 inch apart

Your rolls look delicious but I'm confused by the recipe. You mention combining the water to the evap milk and the milk. I don't see any water or any other milk in the recipe. Could you clarify by edit so we can try this? Thanks.
What is the source of this sweet bread? It sounds like a Latin mix if I had to guess but it's just a guess.
Thanks,
Eric
hi eric
you confused so instead of 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup evaporated milk i omit water i change to 1 cup evaporated milk then follow the other recipe and when you touch it's so tender in your mouth and when you eat a little crunchy outside and if you want the taste so sweet just add the sugar to 3/4 cup instead of 1/2... that's it
maybe sound latin mix but since when i'm just a boy there is pandesal already in the philippines and people like pandesal and it's so cheap and it's a common here they really like this buns. it is always present in breakfast and together with a coffee or milk take 1 slice of the bun then dip to the coffee or milk then put in it your mouth or maybe put a sandwichspread, peanut butter taste good. and even in snack time and in the evening there is pandesal in the bakery. it's true...
try this and you will like
