Swedish cinnamon buns
It's Waffle day tomorrow, not cinnamon bun day, but I was in the mood to make them anyway. Eating them when they're fresh out of the oven with a glass of milk is a flashback to my childhood. I used to stay with my grandma when she had 'bake days', and the entire kitchen would fill up with delicious cake and bread scents. Everyone makes different buns, but I like these swirl types. And it's important to add plenty of crystallised sugar!
Would you share the recipe for those buns?
David
Not only are your cinnamon buns lovely, but so are your memories.
Welcome to TFL!
David, I use a Swedish recipe, so instead of translating that I tried to scour the web for a recipe in English - and I found one!
This is from the site sweden.se and it's a great and easy recipe, just like I make them!

For the filling I also use vanilla sugar, which makes it even tastier.
Let me know if you make them!
LindyD, thank you so much for your kind words.
